The University of Kentucky softball team (9-15, 1-5) will play host to Georgia in a Tuesday/ Wednesday three-game series March 18-19 at the UK Softball Complex. The Tuesday doubleheader and the series finale on Wednesday are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. ET both days.

The Wildcats are coming off a weekend series with Ole Miss where they took one of three from the Rebels. The 10th-ranked Bulldogs (26-4, 5-1) took two of three from Mississippi State in Starkville.

Nicole Barber leads Georgia with a .424 average. She has also stolen 33 bases and been caught only three times. Michelle Green has been the Bulldogs’ anchor on the mound. She is 17-2 with a miniscule 0.65 ERA.

Senior Nikki Jones continues her hot hitting. She is batting .429 and is currently in the midst of a 14-game hitting streak, which ties a career high. She has at least two hits in her last six games. Freshman Amy Kendall earned her sixth victory of the season on Saturday with a three-hit performance against Ole Miss.

Georgia leads the all-time series with Kentucky 18-7. They took two from the Cats early in the season at the Fun & Sun Classic in Miami, Fla. The Dogs also won all five of the games last year.

Live Gametracker stats will be available for all three games on the schedule page.
