The Kentucky men’s tennis team will look to get back on track Sunday when they take on 14th-ranked South Carolina at 1 p.m. at UK’s Boone Tennis Complex. Kentucky (10-6, 2-1) will attempt to regain momentum after suffering its first SEC loss Friday at second-ranked Florida.

The Gamecocks (11-1, 3-1) feature 59th-ranked Angelo Niculescu, who is undefeated in 12 dual matches this season.

For the Wildcats, 11th-ranked Jesse Witten has been hot of late, winning his last four matches. Friday, Witten finished off 35th-ranked Hamid Mirzadeh of Florida for the Cats’ lone point of their 6-1 loss to the Gators.

Last season, UK narrowly defeated USC in Columbia by a 4-3 count.
