The University of Kentucky men’s golf team will travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to take part in the 54-hole Seminole Intercollegiate on March 10 & 11. The tournament, hosted by Florida State at the par 72/6,635 yard Golden Eagle County Club, begins Monday at 7:15 a.m. ET.
Two rounds will be played Monday, with the final round beginning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. ET. Kentucky is joined at the tournament by SEC-rivals Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee, as well as defending Seminole Intercollegiate champion North Carolina. UAB’s Graeme McDowell, a 2002 graduate, won last year’s tournament.
Alabama-Birmingham, College of Charleston, East Tennessee State, Georgia State, North Florida, Northwestern, South Carolina-Aiken, Virginia and Wake Forest close out the field.
The Wildcats are coming off an 11th-place finish at the Gator Invitational last month. Sophomore John Holmes led the Cats with a three-round total of +7, placing sixth overall.
