The University of Kentucky baseball team (5-5, 0-0 SEC) will host the Purdue Boilermakers (3-1, 0-0 Big 10) in a three-game weekend series beginning Friday, March 7th.
The Bat Cats defeated East Tennessee State in their home opener on Wednesday, March 5th, 3-0. UK used seven pitchers in the game, allowing just four hits and facing three batters over the minimum on the afternoon.
Purdue is riding a three game winning streak, with victories over Detroit, Boston College and Sacred Heart. The Boilermakers lost their season opener, 8-7, to Pittsburgh.
Game times for the weekend are set for 3 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
