Tallahassee, Fla. – The doubles final at the Seminole Lady Classic on the campus of Florida State will be overrun with Kentucky Blue when the team of Sarah Witten and Nathalie Roels takes on the team of Jill Buckley and Amy Trefethen.

The two UK teams were seeded one and two respectively going into this weekend’s tournament. Witten/Roels knocked off the No. 3 seed team of Mysti Morris and Jaime Wong of Georgia Tech, 8-5, in the semifinal and Buckley/Trefethen downed the unseeded team of Veronika Subertova and Nisrine Hajbane of Jacksonville, 8-3.

In singles action, Sarah Witten fell to No. 2 seed Wong, 6-2, 6-2, in the semifinals of the “A” bracket. In the “B” bracket, Roels advanced to the finals over Central Florida’s Kristina Lohmos, 6-0,6-7,6-3. She will take on the top seeded Morris. Roels is the only UK singles player left in the tournament.
