Begley, Ruth to Split Kicking Duties vs. Indiana: Redshirt freshman Taylor Begley and sophomore Clint Ruth will split the placekicking duties during the Indiana game, Coach Guy Morriss announced Thursday.
Begley will kick field goals and extra points while Ruth will handle kickoffs. Begley kicked during the Louisville game and set a Governor’s Cup record with three field goals in UK’s 22-17 win. He was named SEC Special Teams Player of the Week. Ruth was one of three Wildcats who kicked during last Saturday’s game vs. Texas-El Paso.
Pep Rally Friday on Campus: There will be a pep rally for the Indiana game Friday at 9:30 p.m. on the UK campus.

The event is free and open to the public. The Lexington band “Voodoo Symphony” will perform before and after the pep rally.

Team Will Have “Cat Walk” at 5 p.m. as Wildcats Arrive at Gate 9: Fans are encouraged to meet the team when the Wildcats arrive at 5 p.m. at Gate 9. The players will make the “Cat Walk” from Gate 9 to their stadium entry point at Gate 12. Blue cat paws are painted along the “Cat Walk” route on the south side of the stadium and fans are encouraged to line up on the sidewalk and cheer the team as it enters the stadium.
The “Cat Walk” has been organized by the families of the players, a group named the Wildcat Football Family Association.
