The University of Kentucky men’s golf team finished action in the Seminole Intercollegiate on Tuesday, March 12 at the Golden Eagle Country Club in Tallahassee, Fla. The Wildcats finished in eighth-place among the 15 team field with a 35-over-par, 899.
Leading the Cats with a finish tied in 13th-place, freshman John Holmes had opening round scores of 72 and finished the third round with a 77. Junior Andy Dustman had a combined score of 225, ending the tournament tied in 24th-place. Other Kentucky golfers in the tournament included Philip Schardein (230), Jack Hudson (231) and Ryan Coyne (232).
The UK men’s golf team will return to the course on Mar. 15-17 when it takes part in the Conrad Rehling Alabama Spring Invitational in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The women’s golf team will also be in action this upcoming weekend when it participates in the Lady Game Cock Classic in Columbia, S.C.
