LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky cheerleading squad will defend its national title January 11-12 at the Universal Cheerleaders Association’s National College Cheerleading Championships at MGM Studios in Orlando, Fla. Kentucky will be competing for its 12th title and eighth in a row at the competition.

In preparation for the event, the squad will conduct an open practice on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. at the Seaton Center on UK’s campus. Admission to the practice is free. They will also perform the routine at halftime of the UK men’s basketball game with Georgia on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Rupp Arena.

The finals will be held on Saturday, Jan. 12 at MGM’s Wide World of Sports.
