BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Antwaan Randle El threw two touchdown passes in hisfinal college game and Jeremi Johnson ran for two scores as Indiana defeatedKentucky 26-15 Saturday.

Indiana ended its six-game losing streak against the Wildcats (2-9).

The Hoosiers (5-6) finished the season by winning four of their last fivegames. They won five games for the first time since 1994.

In the first half, Randle El became the first major college player toaccumulate 2,500 yards in total offense for four consecutive seasons. In thesecond half, he moved into fifth-place on the NCAA’s total yardage list,passing Boston College’s Doug Flutie. Randle El finished his career with 11,364total yards.

Kentucky took a 7-0 lead on its second possession with a 19-yard pass fromJared Lorenzen to Tommy Cook, who fumbled the ball into the end zone whereDerek Abney recovered.

The Hoosiers tied the score on a 1-yard run from Johnson, then took the leadon a 30-yard TD pass from Randle El to Kris Dielman.

Randle El then connected with Courtney Roby on a 19-yard touchdown pass with1:06 left in the half to make it 19-7.

Indiana sealed the game on Johnson’s 27-yard touchdown run early in thefourth quarter.

Kentucky cut the lead to 26-15 when Lorenzen threw his second touchdownpass, late in the fourth quarter, then completed a conversion pass to MartezJohnson.

Randle El was 15-of-31 for 194 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 43yards on 15 carries. He finished five completions short of the school recordand 36 yards shy of rushing for 1,000 yards for the second straight season.

Johnson rushed 17 times for 97 yards.

Kentucky was led by Lorenzen, who completed 26-of-45 passes for 324 yards.
