University of Kentucky women’s golf head coach Stephanie Martin announced the signing of highly-touted Ali Kicklighter on Wednesday, Nov. 28. The Deland, Fla., native has been ranked as high as 32nd in the nation in 2001 by Golfweek/Titleist.

The Flagler Palm Coast High School senior has been named first team all conference each of her four years at Flagler and was named International Junior Tour Player of the Year in 1999.

“I am very excited about the addition of Ali to this team,” Martin said. “She is a great player and wonderful person. There is no doubt that she will accomplish much during her career as a Lady Kat.”

Kicklighter is the first signee under Martin and will join the Lady Kat squad in the fall of 2002.
