BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The University of Kentucky diving team opened up the Indiana Invitational by claiming a first- and third-place finish on the one-meter for the men and a third- and fifth-place finish on the women???sup>TMs three-meter at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatics Center at Indiana University.

Junior Clayton Moss (360.81) won the one-meter springboard while senior Aaron Kirkpatrick placed third (310.90). Freshman John Collier placed eighth (235.10).

Junior Kelli Frost placed third on the three-meter with a career-best score (479.00) while teammate freshman Trisha Tumlinson finished fifth (460.90). Frost and Tumlinson scores both rank among the best ever at UK with Frost moving to sixth and Tumlinson seventh on the all-time list.

The squads will return to the diving well tomorrow as the men compete on the three-meter and the women on the one-meter boards during the second day of competition.
