Men's Golf

(Apr. 6, 2001) — The University of Kentucky men’s golf team stands in 10th place at the 32nd Annual Marshall Invitational Golf Tournament after posting a two-round total of 583 following action at Huntington’s Guyan Golf &Country Club in Huntington, WV on Friday, April 6, 2001.

Seniors Wes Furnish and Ryan Wilson lead the Wildcats tied for fourth place with two other golfers with a score of 2-under par 140. They trail leader Mike Austin of Ohio State by only six strokes.

Other Cats in action include senior Pat Kelley with a score of 151 and junior John Beckett and sophomore Andy Dustman both with scores of 155.

The tournament concludes tomorrow with the third and final round set to begin at 7:30 a.m.
