(Feb. 19, 2001) — The University of Kentucky womens tennis team will play host to the Purdue Boilermakers on Tuesday, February 20, at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Complex on the UK campus. Action begins 1:30 p.m. Admission is free.
The Wildcats (3-3) will look to improve their record above .500 with a win over the struggling Boilermakers (2-5). Coming off a hard-fought loss to the fourth-ranked Florida Gators, the Cats are heading in the right direction and are primed to pick up their fourth non-conference victory of the young season.
UK has yet to lose a match at home in the friendly confines of the Boone Tennis Complex, with impressive shutout wins over Louisville, Cincinnati and Michigan.
