- Trailing 16-8, UK goes on a 22-3 run for a 30-19 lead
- UK opens the second half with a 15-2 run for a 49-29 lead, UK’s largest lead of the game
- Trailing 56-37, VU goes on a 19-2 run to cut the lead to 58-56
- UK comes back with a 16-4 run, going ahead 74-60 and is never seriously threatened after that
