Eleven Kentucky women’s soccer players were named to the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll the conference office announced. Kentucky was the fourth-highest school in number of student-athletes named.
Current team members on the Honor Roll include Beth Wells, Annie Gage, Melinda Buemi, Susie Ledzianowski, and Jaime Dellbringge. Former Wildcats on the list are Hope Deustchle, Brooke Hergesell, Allison Peppers, Heather Pielage, Amanda Pielage, and Deanna Stayton.
The nominations are based upon the 1999-2000 school year. To be eligible, student-athletes must have three things: sophomore standing, a 3.0 GPA for the past year or cumulatively, and have 24 credit hours toward a degree.
