An exclusive student appreciation practice has been scheduled prior to the UK-North Carolina game.

(Oct. 30, 2000) — The 2000-01 Kentucky men’s basketball team and the Athletics Association would like to show its appreciation to the UK student body by opening practice on November 28.

The team, which always practices behind closed doors, will open practice to students with a valid UK I.D. beginning at 4 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum.

The Wildcats, who are ranked among the nation’s best again this season, will conduct an autograph session after practice. In addition, Nike apparel, lower arena basketball tickets and a Tubby Smith autographed basketball will be among the many prizes given away.
