(Oct. 25, 2000) — The University of Kentucky junior varsity football team will play host to Hargrave Military Academy’s post-graduate squad on Thursday, October 26, at 6 p.m. in Commonwealth Stadium. Admission if free and fans can enter at gates 10 and 11 on the south side of the stadium.

The Cats are coming off an exciting 21-17 win over Saint Francis last week and are looking to continue their winning ways.

“We really improved last week and although Hargrave is a tough team, I think it will be a very competitive and exciting game,” UK junior varsity coach Rob Manchester said.

The Hargrave Tigers are 5-3 after defeating Middle Georgia and falling to Virginia Tech’s junior varsity squad last week. The Cats are 2-1 all-time versus the Tigers after grabbing a 49-40 decision last season in Lexington.
