Florida (7-6, 3-0 SEC) scored the first goal of the game halfway into the first half, late in the 27th minute. Andi Sellers shot the ball into the lower left corner of the goal off an assist by Crystal Frimpong. The next Gator goal came ten minutes later in the 37th minute after Kentucky tied the game at one-one. Robin Fulton scored off an assist from Abby Wambach. Wambach came back again in the 40th minute to put Florida up on the Cats 3-2 going into halftime. Kristen Fisher assisted on the goal.
The Gators did not score again until the 67th minute when Andi Sellers put her second goal of the night into the lower corner of the net. With Ramsey’s goal, Kentucky crept closer to tying the game for the third time of the night, but was unable to do so as Sellers scored her third goal of the night. The hat trick was her first of the season.
