The University of Kentucky junior varsity football team will play host to Georgetown College at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2 in CommonwealthStadium. Admission is free and fans can enter at gates 10 and 11 on the south side of the stadium.

The Wildcats (0-1) look for revenge against the Tigers after falling 42-13 in Georgetown on Monday, Sept. 18. Because of heavy rain last week, the Cats were forced to postpone their home opener with Campbellsville. UK junior varsity coach Rob Manchester is anxious to get his team back ingame action.

“We were disappointed we had to cancel the game last week because we were ready to get back out there and correct the mistakes we madeagainst Georgetown in the first game,” Manchester said. “On the positive side, we got in more practice and conditioning time and we are moreconfident going into Monday’s game.”

UK holds a 3-2 advantage over Georgetown all-time and is 1-0 versus the Tigers in Commonwealth Stadium.
