(Sept. 26, 2000) — University of Kentucky junior Tayshaun Prince has made three preseason All-America teams and freshman Jason Parker has been tabbed the nation’s top newcomer by a national preseason magazine.

Blue Ribbon Magazine listed Prince a fourth-team All-American and made Parker its Preseason Newcomer of the Year for the 2000-01 basketball season.

Prince, the Wildcats’ leading returning scorer and rebounder, also has been named a top-30 preseason candidate for the Naismith College Basketball Player of the Year Award and a top-25 candidate for the John Wooden All-American Team.
