AUBURN, Ala. (Feb. 25, 2000) — The UK men’s and women’s swimmingand diving teams picked up one NCAA automaticqualifying time and seven NCAA provisional qualifyingtimes at the Auburn Last Chance Invitational (swam inshort course meters). Junior Melissa Olson recorded atime of 2:11.88 in the 200-meter backstroke, automaticallyqualifying her for the NCAA Women’s Swimming &Diving Championships next month in Indianapolis, Ind.Junior Macon White met the NCAA provisional timestandard in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:47.61, justmissing the automatic time by three one hundredths of asecond.

The second day of the Auburn Last Chance Invitationalbegins Saturday morning at 11 a.m. (EST), with the finalsession at 5 p.m.
