COLUMBUS, Ohio – The University of Kentucky rifle team won itssecond match of the year as it defeated Ohio State on Saturday.

Kentucky shot a combined score of 6120 to OSU’s 6027. The Cats shot a4601 in small bore and a 1519 in air rifle, while Ohio State fired a 4526 insmall bore and a 1501 in air rifle.

UK’s Mary Elsass shot an 1172 in small bore and a 388 in air rifle to claimtwo individual competitions. Christine Borowski finished second in smallbore with 1160 points and third in air rifle with 381 points.
