University of Kentucky defensive end Kurt Supe has been named to thenational “Good Works Team” as chosen by the College Football Association forhis active participation in community service work during his years as aWildcat.

Supe is responsible for organizing 15 Kentucky student-athletes in the”Copi-Cat” pen pal program that enocurages elementary students to read. Healso participated in the university’s mentor program, which involved meetingwith a youth each week and encouraging his academic success and personalgrowth. Additionally, he worked for the UK Hospital “Breakfast With Santa”program and volunteered for the Olympic Field Day at Huntertown ElementarySchool.
