LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky men’s tennis team will look for its third SEC win when the Cats travel to Gainesville to play the #2 Florida Gators on Sunday. The Cats are coming off a 5-2 win over SEC foe Auburn last Monday. In the Gators last match, they beat Auburn on March 24, 7-0.

Sophomore Gustav Pousette will attempt to maintain his perfect SEC record. Pousette has defeated three SEC opponents, all in straight sets. Senior Johan Hesoun, who has gone 4-1 in his last five matches, will look to improve his current ranking (No. 62) with a win against Florida.

Florida leads the series, 24-10, with their most recent win coming on March 26, 1999, when then-No. 8 Florida defeated Kentucky, 7-0. The match will begin at 1 p.m., and it will take place at the Linder Stadium at Ring Tennis Complex.
