LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky gymnastics team will complete its home schedule on Friday, March 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Memorial Coliseum, when it takes on the No. 9 West Virginia Mountaineers. This marks the final regular season meet for Kentucky and the final home meet for GymKat seniors Mila Chitwood and Krissy Hoeferlin.

The GymKats (3-10, 1-4 SEC) are coming off a disappointing fourth-place finish in last week’s home quad meet with No. 18 Florida, George Washington and Central Michigan. The Kats finished with their second highest score of the season with a 194.175, led by freshman Julia Gore, who finished fifth in the all-around with a 39.050. Sophomore Katie Toups notched a new career high on the uneven bars with a 9.900, while Hoeferlin set a new career high on the event with a 9.825.

The GymKats conclude their 2000 campaign next weekend when they travel to Gainesville, Fla. to compete in the 2000 Southeastern Conference Championships on Saturday, March 18.
