LEXINGTON, Kty. – Memorial Coliseum will be action packed on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 2p.m., when the Kentucky women’s basketball team plays host to SouthCarolina and participates in the fifth annual Take A Kid To The Gameprogram sponsored by Regal By Buick and the NCAA.
The program, designed to promote the women’s game to the youthof America, allows kids under the age of 18 to be admitted free whenaccompanied by an adult. In addition to free admission, all kids cantake place in interactive activities on the upper concourse in MemorialColiseum starting at 1 p.m. Various UK athletes will be available tosign autographs and kids of all ages can have their picture made withScratch, the official mascot of UK women’s basketball. The first 1,000fans will receive free Kentucky Wildcat key chains. Admission is $5 foradults.
“The women’s basketball game is so exciting and competitive atKentucky and we invite everyone to come out and take advantage of the’Take A Kid To The Game’ day on Sunday,” UK Coach Bernadette Mattoxsaid.
This year marks the fifth year of the Take A Kid To The Gameprogram and the second for Regal By Buick’s involvement.
