LEXINGTON, Kty. – For the second consecutive week, a member of the University of Kentuckymen’s swimming and diving team was named the Southeastern Conference Men’sSwimmer of the Week.

Junior Shaun Zitani was honored today by the SEC office. Teammate MaconWhite was honored last week.

Zitani, a native of Port St. Lucie, Fla., captured the 50 and 100-yardfreestyles in UK’s 122-121 win over LSU last Friday. Both were season besttimes, while Zitani’s time of 20.34 met the NCAA “B” time standard. He wasalso a member of the Cats’ winning 200 freestyle relay that enabled UK tocapture the one-point win over LSU, earning the Cats’ their first ever dualmeet win over the Tigers.
