LEXINGTON, Kty. – The University of Kentucky women’s basketball team will meetTennessee-Martin on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m., in the first of fourstraight home games in Memorial Coliseum over the next two weeks.

The Wildcats (6-3) haven’t played at home since defeatingin-state rival Western Kentucky on Dec. 1. They hold a 5-2 road gamerecord, but are hoping to extend their home game win streak to four.

“It’s great to be playing at home again,” UK Coach BernadetteMattox said. “We have played eight of our nine games on the road thisseason and its nice to be able to come play in front of our home crowdbefore we start the brutal Southeastern Conference schedule.”

UK will also face Xavier at home on Friday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m.and Winthrop on Monday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m. Auburn travels to Lexington onThursday, Jan. 6 to begin SEC action.

The Cats, coming off a 68-62 win over Cincinnati last week, are2-0 all-time versus Tennessee-Martin after winning 90-60 last season inMartin, Tenn. The Skyhawks (2-7), looking to snap a three-game losingstreak, are led by co-head coaches Gary and Kim Van Atta. UTM has neverplayed in Memorial Coliseum.
