GREENVILLE, S.C. –The Lady Kat golfers moved up one place to finish in 15th place after the final round of the Lady Paladin Invitational on Sunday. Kentucky sophomore Kristen Pepe hit a 1-over-par 73 on the last day, giving her a new low one-round total. She finished in 36th place.

Freshman Rachel Lester shot a 7-over-par 79 on the final day, moving her up to 55th place. Freshman Marie Allen finished in 73rd place, shooting an 81 in the final round. Sophomore Towa Okiyama placed 88th in the tournament and senior Jenny Dugan finished in 93rd place.

Unranked Wake Forest won the team title and Angela Stanford of TCU won the individual title after a playoff with Maria Beautell of Wake Forest. Stanford and Beautell both finished three rounds with totals of 216.

The Lady Kats will head to the Palmetto Collegiate in Kiawah, S.C., on Nov. 7-9, for their final tournament of the fall season.
