GREENVILLE, S.C. – The second round of the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, S.C., came to an end Saturday with the Lady Kat golfers dropping a spot to 16th place.
Freshman Rachel Lester finished the second day in 57th place tied with sophomore Kristen Pepe. Pepe shot a 6-over-par 78 in the second round, moving her up almost 30 places. Sophomore Towa Okiyama shot a 7-over-par 79, moving her up 20 spots to 65th place. She is tied with freshman Marie Allen, who shot an 82 on the second day. Senior Jenny Dugan dropped down to 86th place when she shot an 87 in the second round.
The final day of competition begins Sunday morning with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
