LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky swimming and diving team held its annualBlue-White intra-squad meet Friday afternoon at the Lancaster AquaticCenter on the UK campus.

Junior Shaun Zitani and freshman Eddie Clement, swimming for the whitesquad, each captured three events on the afternoon.

Zitani won the 50-yard breaststroke, 150 butterfly, and 200 freestylewhile Clement earned victories in the 100 breaststroke, 150 backstroke, and200 butterfly.

The Cats open the 1999-2000 swimming and diving regular season on Friday,Oct. 22, when they host the Louisville Cardinals at 5 p.m.
