Tickets for the double-header opener on Saturday, Dec. 18, featuring theKentucky women’s basketball team versus 1999 National Champion Purdue inIndianapolis, Ind., will go on sale Monday, Nov. 1, 1999. The UK-Purduegame will mark the first collegiate game in the new Conseco Fieldhouse inIndianapolis. Coach Bernadette Mattox To Speak At Coaches vs. Cancer Challenge PressConference
Kentucky women’s basketball coach Bernadette Mattox, along withConnecticut coach Geno Auriemma, Old Dominion coach Wendy Larry and Clemsoncoach Jim Davis, will speak on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at the Coaches vs. CancerChallenge press conference in Hartford, Conn. The press conference will beheld at the City Steam Brewery from 11:30-1:00 p.m.
During the event hosted by the Gazelle Group, each coach will previewtheir upcoming season, respond to questions and be available for “one onone” interviews.
