UK takes more hardware home from the Hokie Volleyball Classic.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Wildcat senior Katie Eiserman and freshman Kristen Batt were named to the All-Tournament team of the Hokie Volleyball Classic on Monday while senior Jaclyn Homan was selected as the tournament MVP.
Eiserman had three strong games for the Cats in Blacksburg, Va. as she totaled 39 kills on 108 attacks and added 36 digs. Batt held her collegiate coming out party over the weekend as she scored 38 kills with only 16 hitting errors on 108 attacks, a .204 mark. Batt established single-game, career highs with 20 kills and 14 digs against Northern Illinois for the first collegiate double-double for the Venice, Fla. native. Homan was a major contributor in every facet of the game for the Wildcats. The 1998 All-SEC selection led the team with a .314 attack percentage aided by error-free matches against NIU and Villanova. Homan totaled 32 kills, 26 digs, 13 block assists and three block solos in the team’s three matches.
UK won the tournament with wins over Northern Illinois, Virginia Tech and Villanova. The Wildcats are 4-0 this season and next play on Friday at Clemson in the Big Orange Bash.
