Multiple Practices Wind Up on Tuesday: The multiple practicesportion of preseason practice finishes this week with a pair ofpractices on Tuesday. The Wildcats held a pair of two-hour practices onMonday, in the morning at the Nutter Training Center and in theafternoon at Commonwealth Stadium.

The morning practice featured the regular practice schedule.The Wildcats looked a bit sluggish, especially on offense, after havingSunday off. The afternoon workout had heavy accent on special teams andthe “bandit drill.” Similar practices are expected on Tuesday, with amorning practice at 10 a.m. at the Nutter Training Center and 3 p.m. atCommonwealth Stadium.

One bright spot of Monday’s work was the return of severalplayers who had missed Saturday’s practice because of an assortment ofmuscle strains, tired legs, etc. Junior cornerbacks Jeremy Bowie andKenneth Grant missed Monday’s practices, but are expected to return thisweek.
