Commonwealth Stadium Construction Update: The aluminum seatingis approximately 95 percent complete. Interior work on the suites(cabinets, counters, sinks, carpet, etc.) is in progress. Preparationwork has begun for laying asphalt on the lower concourse. Both ends of Commonwealth Stadium are being enclosed. The project willadd about 10,000 seats, bringing capacity to approximately 68,000. Asmuch as $27.6 million may be spent on the stadium expansion.
Watch the Stadium Construction: Fans may view photographs of thestadium expansion on the internet site www.uky.edu/stadium. A camerahas been mounted in the press box and is pointed toward the west(Nicholasville Road) end zone. Photographs are updated every fiveminutes.
