KENT, Ohio – The University of Kentucky men’s golf team is in 12th placeafter the first two rounds of the Cobra Collegiate Golf Tournament.

UK fired a team total of 588 for the two rounds, and sits 18 strokesbehind leader Kent at 570.

John Beckett leads the UK squad after firing a 146 for the first tworounds. Jaime Broce of Ball State leads the tournament after posting atwo-round score of 135.

The final round of the 19-team tournament tees off on Sunday at theWindmill Hills Golf Course with a shotgun start set for 10 a.m.
