CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Lady Kats are in 11th place after the second round of play at the Lady Tar Heel Golf Tournament in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Kentucky had a team-total of 315 for the second day, bringing their two-day-total to 632. Jenny Dugan moved up to 10th place from 19th place after shooting a 73 Saturday. Other UK scores include Chanda Day’s 77, placing her tied for 30th, Towa Okiyama’s 78, tying her for 49th, Jenny Throgmorton’s 85, tying her for 66th, and Kristen Pepe’s 85, placing her tied for 83rd.
Duke remains on top of the Invitational after shooting a 281 Saturday, making their two-day-team-total to 571. Second-place South Carolina is 32 strokes behind with a two-day-total of 603. The final day of play begins Sunday morning at 8 a.m. at the par-72, 6,075-yard Chapel Hill Country Club.
