The 18th-ranked University of Kentucky women’s tennis team blanked theIndiana Hoosiers 8-0 on Saturday at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center.

The Cats cruised over IU, dropping only two sets in the entire match.Christy Sigurski moved up to the No. 2 singles spot for the Cats and pickedup an impressive 6-2, 7-5 win over IU’s Zahra Ahamed.

With the win, Kentucky improves to 11-6, while Indiana drops to 7-8.

The Cats return to the court on Sunday, when the 17th-ranked Wake ForestDemon Deacons (8-8) travel to Lexington for a 12 noon dual match.
