The 26th-ranked University of Kentucky Wildcats fell to No. 27 VirginiaCommonwealth, 4-2, on Feb. 27.
UK’s Johan Hesoun picked up a win at No. 2 singles, as he came back todefeat Jose Sanchez, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. Freshman Gustav Pousette also won forthe Cats. Pousette defeated Johan Barros at No. 4 singles, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
With the win, Virginia Commonwealth remained undefeated with a 10-0 record.UK fell to 5-2 on the season.
UK next faces Indiana and Eastern Kentucky at home on Thursday, Mar. 4.
