LEXINGTON, Ky. – On the second and final day of the Rod McCravy Memorial, Lutisha Shittuprovisionally qualified for the NCAA Nationals in March in the 60-meterhurdles, and Jeff Limpert broke the meet record that he set at last year’smeet.

Shittu came in second in the 60 hurdles to Andria King from Georgia Tech.King broke the meet record with her time of 8.28. The previous record of8.32 was set by unattached competitor LaVonna Floreal in 1997.Limpert’s record time of 1:50.63 was more than one second less than lastyear’s time.

The Wildcats will see their next action at the SEC Championships inGainesville, Fla., on Feb. 20-21.
