LEXINGTON, Ky.Floridas Abby Wambach scored a hat trick to give the fifth-ranked Gators a 3-0 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday at the UK Soccer Complex.

Wambach scored in the sixth minute of the game off a shot into an open net, and followed up with two more goals in the second half. With the loss, Kentucky falls to 3-3-2, 1-2 in the Southeastern Conference. Florida remains undefeated with a record of 8-0, 4-0 in the SEC. The Cats next see action on Friday, Oct. 2, when they travel to Wake Forest to take on the Demon Deacons.
