LEXINGTON, Ky.-The 26th-ranked University of Kentucky men’s tennis teamfell, 5-2, at No. 12 Tennessee on Saturday.
Kentucky (7-3, 0-1 Southeastern Conference) won the doubles point, as theWildcat duo of Johan Hesoun and Patrik Johansson defeated Mark Way and MarkFitzpatrick, 8-3, at No. 1, and Tomas Smid and Edo Bawono defeated ChadCopenhaver and Paul Podbury, 8-6, at No. 2. But the Vols (9-4, 3-1 SEC) wonfive of six singles matches to clinch the victory.
The Wildcats next see action on March 17 when they travel to South Carolina.
