LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 25 University of Kentucky gymnastics team will play host to itsfirst tri-meet of the season when it entertains the George WashingtonColonials and the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Friday, Jan. 29, at 7:30p.m. in Memorial Coliseum.

Kentucky jumped into the national rankings this week at No. 25. The Katsalso were ranked ninth in vault and No. 25 in floor exercise. In addition,junior Krissy Hoeferlin was rated 11th nationally for her outstandingindividual performances on vault, while Mila Chitwood, another UK junior,was ranked 25th in floor exercise for her efforts in the Kats’ first twooutings of the season.

The Wolfpack is coming off a 191.525 to 188.925 loss to Penn State lastweekend, while George Washington finished fourth in its invitational with ascore of 186.150. The GymKats (0-2,0-2) are coming off of a 194.400 to192.625 home loss to LSU last weekend.
