The University of Kentucky women’s soccer team faces Ole Miss as the Catsopen Southeastern Conference Tournament play at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, inTuscaloosa, Ala.

UK (8-7-3, 5-3 SEC) lost its last regular season game to No. 19 Michiganon Sunday on a last-second goal. The game appeared to be headed into overtime.But the Wolverinesi Amber Berendowsky netted a 15-yard shot at the 89:55 mark togive Michigan the 1-0 victory.

Senior forward Carrie Staber and juniorforward Jen McMaster both have six goals on the season for the Cats, while juniormidfielder Brooke Hergesell has four. Senior goalkeeper Carrie Kuhnell hasrecorded a goals-against average of only 1.15 and has five shutouts.

Ole Miss(9-6-2, 3-5 SEC) recorded a 1-0 shutout victory in their last outing againstSoutheast Louisiana. Sophomore midfielder Sarah Wong and senior midfielder TammyZegledi have each recorded 10 goals on the season for the Rebels.
