FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.-The University of Kentucky volleyball team (10-4, 1-1 Southeastern Conference) fell to the No. 16 Arkansas Lady Razorbacks (10-2, 2-0 SEC) Sunday in three games 15-12, 15-3, 15-9.

The Wildcats struggled offensively, posting only a .084 team hitting percentage in the match against Arkansas’ .307 percentage. Kentucky was led by senior outside hitter LaTanya Webb with seven kills. Freshman outside hitter Meghan Stout recorded six digs in the match for the Wildcats. The Lady Razorbacks were led by senior middle blocker Kim Storey, who notched 15 kills and nine digs in the winning effort. Fellow senior Jessica Field posted 12 kills and racked up seven total blocks against the Wildcats.

UK returns to action this week as it hosts in-state rival and No. 22 Louisville. This will mark the 37th meeting between the two squads, with Kentucky holding a 25-11 lead in the series. The Cats and Cards will battle Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. in UK’s Memorial Coliseum.
