LEXINGTON, Ky. – On the last day of the two-day EKU Invitational, Jenny Dugan finished in third place and theLady Kats earned second-place honors.

Dugan shot a 5-over-par 77 in thesecond and final round to move her up from 7th place. Jenny Throgmortonshot an 11-over-par 83 to place her in 6th, tying her with teammateKristen Pepe. After shooting a 7-over-par 79 in the second round,freshman Charlotte Svennevig finished in 13th place in her firstcollegiate tournament. Fellow teammate Towa Okiyama finished tied in17th after shooting a 9-over-par 82 on the last day of competition.Chanda Day shot a two-day-total of 168, finishing the tournament in 24thplace.

The Lady Kats trailed first-place team Illinois State by 15strokes. Illinois State had three golfers in the top three, contributingto their two-round stroke total of 632. Nicole Foy of Illinois Stateshot a 75 on the last day, moving her into 1st place.
