Scrimmage Time for Saturday Could Change: Please note that, because of the threat of rain, the time for Saturday’s Kentucky football scrimmage couldchange.

Currently, the plan is for the Wildcats to begin scrimmaging at the NutterTraining Center at 2 p.m. EDT with no practice time beforehand. Coach HalMumme says that the scrimmage could begin as early as 12:30 p.m. Thedecision will be made on Saturday, depending on the weather radar forecast.

Kentucky Spring Football Calendar: Please note that dates and times aretentative. Practices and scrimmages are to be held at the Nutter TrainingCenter unless noted otherwise. Adverse weather conditions could forcechanges in practice time and location. The alternate practice site is theNutter Field House next to Commonwealth Stadium.

Spring Game Tickets on Sale: Tickets for the Blue/White Spring Game areavailable for $10 each at the UK Ticket Office at Memorial Coliseum. Alltickets are general admission and all persons will need a ticket to enterthe stadium. Net proceeds from the spring game go to the UK Marching Band.

Commonwealth Stadium Construction Update: Construction crews are erectingstructural steel, pouring concrete on the upper concourses, and erectingwalls for concession stands and restrooms on both ends of the stadium. Inaddition, decking and seating are being installed on both ends.

Both ends of Commonwealth Stadium are being enclosed. The project willadd about 10,000 seats, bringing capacity to approximately 68,000. Up to$27.6 million may be spent on the stadium expansion, which is expected tobe ready for the opening of the 1999 season.
