The University of Kentucky junior varsity football team will play host to Georgia Military College on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 3 p.m. at Commonwealth Stadium.
The Wildcats (1-2), who lost to Hargrave Military and Georgetown, hope to break their two-game losing streak against the Bulldogs (5-1). Georgia Military is currently ranked eighth in the national junior college rankings.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” UK Coach Chris Hatcher said. “We’re just going to go out and try to execute our game plan and hopefully get some good looks at some of our young guys.”
The UK jayvee squad fell to Georgia Military last year, 35-20, in Milledgeville, Ga. Admission is free and fans can enter Commonwealth at Gate 7 in the Blue Lot next to Alumni Drive.
