LEXINGTON, Ky. – New goalposts for the Commonwealth Stadium playing field are expected to arrive today and will be installed on Monday or Tuesday, according to Bill Reesor of UK’s Physical Plant Division.

Reesor said that the holes for installing the goalposts will be prepared on Friday. If all goes well, installation will occur early next week.

UK Athletics Facilities Coordinator Russ Pear ordered the goalposts from Gilman Gear, Inc., of Gilman, CT. A pair of goalposts costs $4,550.
