UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.. – The No. 19 Kentucky Gymnastics team will face one final road test before next week’s SEC Championships when it closes the regular season with trip to No. 16 Penn State on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.

Penn State will provide live scoring coverage online from Rec Hall on the PSU campus.

Kentucky topped 196 for the third consecutive meet in a 196.375-192.7 win over Bowling Green last Friday. The team total was second-highest in school history. 

Junior Audrey Harrison checks in at No. 20 in the national individual all-around rankings. The Knoxville,Tenn., native is tied for the SEC lead with seven AA titles this season.

Harrison’s tally also leads the nation in AA titles among those ranked in the GymInfo AA top-25, and she boasts 15 total event titles in 2013.

The Wildcats have topped 196 three meets in a row for the first time in school history.

Kentucky broke the program record RQS for the second straight week, with a March 11 score of 195.860, up from 195.635 last Monday. The Wildcats rank No. 14 on balance beam, and No. 19 on uneven bars nationally.

Kayla Hartley clinched the second-highest team score in school history with a 9.9 floor exercise routine against BGSU.

The performance gave Hartley the event title for the second week in a row. It was also her first 9.9 since the season-opener. The junior has three event crowns from the past two meets.

The Wildcats ended up scoring 49.125 on floor, which tied the season-high. Kenzie Hedges took the event honors on vault as she stuck her landing for a career-best 9.875.

Holly Cunningham has also claimed three event titles in the most recent two competitions as she won balance beam on Friday with a 9.875, which matched the career-high beam score she first received last week.

Penn State  (12-5, 4-3 B1G) put up its highest score since March 4, 2011 (196.975) against N.C. State to take first place in their quad meet with Temple, Penn and New Hampshire last Saturday.
